Texas requires this ten hour class before you can apply for a concealed handgun license. You do not need a state packet to attend this class all is done online now just go to www.txdps.com to fill out the packet online. You must pre-register to attend the class. The cost will be $95 dollars and includes required picture,notary and range fees. This class usually costs from $120 - $150 dollars on average.

Each student needs to bring a black ink pen, ear/eye protection if you have it, one box of ammunition and their handgun. Do not bring any firearms into the classroom. The shooting course of fire is very easy to pass. We will train you on the use of handguns. Both men and women are encouraged to attend.
